In shortFuel-It delivers diesel for generators across South Africa: scheduled top-ups for standby sets at offices, hospitals, data centres, schools, retail centres and estates. We deliver clean diesel to SANS 342, metered and sealed, with a certificate of analysis, so your generator starts and runs when the grid fails.
What backup power needs from a fuel supplier
- A full tank before the outage. Scheduled deliveries matched to your generator’s run hours keep reserves where they should be.
- Clean fuel. Water and contamination in a standby tank cause failures at the worst moment. Clean, certified diesel is the first defence.
- Fast response. During extended outages generators burn fuel fast. You need a supplier who answers the phone.
- Records. Delivery records and certificates for facilities audits and insurers.

Proof, not promises
Diesel left in a standby tank for months can pick up water and grow microbes (“diesel bug”) that block filters. Keep tanks full to limit condensation, drain water regularly and have fuel tested if it has been stored a long time. emergency / after-hours generator fuel offer
