The problem we solve

Buying fuel across a border adds three risks to the usual ones: documents, delays and payment. A missing permit can hold a tanker at the border for days; an unclear payment arrangement can stop a delivery after it leaves.

We set out every document, the route and the payment terms before you order, so there are no surprises at the border.

What’s included

  • Export documentation. Customs clearance on the South African side, commercial invoice, certificate of analysis and delivery documents.
  • Your country’s rules, spelled out. Which import permits, regulator licences and customs steps apply at your end, before you commit.
  • Routes and border posts. The route, border post and transit time for your delivery, agreed upfront.
  • Clear payment terms. Upfront payment or a letter of credit, in the currencies we confirm with your quote.

Customs: inside and outside SACU

Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho and Eswatini share the Southern African Customs Union (SACU) with South Africa, which simplifies customs. Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, Angola and Malawi are outside SACU, so full export and import customs procedures apply. Every country also has its own energy regulator and import rules.
